MUSIC SUBMISSIONS

F Magazine is excited to announce our first quarterly “Audio F’ile” music compilation insert in the September issue. This mixxer is comprised of some of Alaska’s very best hip hop and rap talent.

The next “Audio F’ile” release will be next spring. We are taking submissions now for high quality recordings for several genres: Country, Folk, and Acoustic. If you’ve got it, send it – one song or an entire album.

Guidelines:

At least one artist involved with each shoot must live in Alaska for at least a portion of the year. Outstanding work that is completely comprised of Alaska residents will take precedence.
When submitting photographs, please include full bylines and (makeup, hair, clothing, set design, photographer, model, etc.)  a cutline (a detail about the photograph. ie: where it was shot, peculiar conditions, particular triumphs, etc.)

    Sorry for the delay in responding, Mike. We prefer you submit music in WAV format to us directly: fmagazine@fhideout.org – If you can’t do WAV, then please submit as MP3. They degrade after downloading from bandcamp (and mp3 too, unfortunately) – so they’re good for listening, but not for putting into a high quality CD.
